~Third person~
"You're going out again?" Reiji questioned, watching Kanato reach for the front door.
Kanato muttered a, "Yes, so what?" before leaving, not waiting for an answer.
Kanato had a hobby of going to the bookstore lately. It was nice to take up a new hobby, and reading really helped to calm him down...and that was it, no other reason to go there. At least, that's what he kept telling himself.
Kanato snuck in through the back window, attempting to avoid as many people as possible. People always gave him a weird look...maybe because of his teddy bear...maybe because of his hair...or maybe because he freaked out on anyone who tried to start a conversation with him...probably the third one.
He didn't care though, he didn't like anyone anyways. Although, there was one person who struck his interest. He wasn't sure why, she seemed like any other girl he had met. But every time he made his way to the bookstore, she was there.
Something troubled him though. It wasn't every time, but occasionally he would see her crying. It surely wasn't the books she was reading, for whenever she was crying, she simply pretended to be reading, but the pages never turned.
One day, a day she was crying, he got sick of seeing her upset, and decided to confront the mystery woman.
He made his way to the chair across from her and plopped down. He leaned across the table separating them and stared at her until she finally looked up. She jumped a little, a bit surprised to see someone sitting near her, let alone staring at her.
She sniffed and wiped her eyes, then looked up at Kanato.
~Your POV~
'Uh oh, I've been found out,' you thought, looking into the purple eyes of the man across from you. Seeing that he wasn't going to be the first one to talk, you decided to break the silence.
"I'm sorry, was I disturbing you?" You asked, genuinely concerned you had.
Kanato was taken aback for a second. No one had ever been so kind to him. He decided he would be different to this one. He wanted to help this one.
"No," he stated, "I was simply wondering why you were crying."
"Oh! It's nothing to concern yourself with, just a little trouble on my end. Some people at school were making fun of me again today...they even followed me here so I guess I'll have to find another hiding place..." you looked away, the tears forming again.
"Why? Why do they bully you?"
You let out a small muffled laugh, then looked into his eyes again. "I don't know, why don't you ask them?" you mumbled, nodding over at a group of boys.
It took him all of 5 seconds to get up and whisk his way over to the perpetrators, his instincts obviously taking over. You watched dumbfounded as one by one each bully realized just how dangerous the man standing before them was. They all nodded in unison, came up to you, and apologized for their rude behavior, promising it would never happen again. After, they made a mad dash for the door, desperate to leave before anything bad happened.
Kanato walked up to you, a blank look on his face like nothing had happened. He held out his hand for you, which you gratefully accepted. The two of you walked out of the bookstore hand in hand.
After a few minutes of walking in silence, you asked, "Did you figure out why they bullied me?"
A cold hand cupped your face and pulled you into a kiss. When he finally pulled away, Kanto said, "You are simply too good for this world."
After that day, you were never bullied again, and you spent your days meeting your savior at the bookstore and going on walks with him.

Diabolik Lovers Seven Minutes in Heaven Laito
“That last turn was probably the best one so far, which is actually sad when you think about it. I want to see these girls look scared again. Someone needs to teach them a lesson.” Still not pleased with how his little game was going, Laito left the center of the room and tugged you out of your seat. Half glaring at you, he shoved you towards the box and barked out his next words. “Hurry up and pick something before I just decide that you'll be my partner.”
“We could do that, if you wanted to. It would speed things along.” Ignoring his harsh tone and treatment, you leaned over the box and grabbed th

My Neighbor is a Nerd [Reader X Sakamaki Reiji]
It was later in the day, around 10 o'clock, and a knock at the door could be heard by Ami and I from the living room. Curious, I got up from the spot I had sunk down into and padded over to the door, peeping through the eye hole.
"Ah, it's the mail person," I mumbled, proceeding to unlock the door, also causing Ami to stop typing on her computer.
"I might get my new camera today! Hurry and open the door (Name)," Ami said, going back to typing as soon as she was done speaking.
<Captain Obvious>
<Why would I be at the Door now Ami??>
<I'd like to see her fume if I said that to her>
I let out a sigh and opened the door, rev

Heliotrope (Sakamaki Kanato x Reader)
You could feel your heart beating faster, drumming in your ears and nearly deafening you. Your breathing turned heavy, a splotch of red tainted on your petite face. (H/C) hair fell down in cascades of curls down your shoulders, bangs obscuring your eyes from view. A small hand clutched at your chest, feeling your heart beat faster and faster.
Love. Or, at least, affection.
You never really understood why. Ever since you met him, it just clicked in your brain that he was the one, the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Most would avoid him, his ways being sadistic and twisted, something women would never find appealing

fun fact: People who read gain more empathy for others than some.
So kanato had some-not a lot- but some empathy for Reader-chan in this, like 20% Empathy 5% concerned, and 75% wondering who the hell Reader-chan was.
